A very warm welcome to Social Gifting!
Volunteering has been a huge part of our philosophy since our organisation's founding in 2018, where we aim to empower individuals from all walks of life to be entrepreneurs through crafting. Our platform provides an opportunity for differently-abled crafters with special needs or who are facing other obstacles (i.e. caregiving duties, cancer warriors, mental health warriors) to integrate seamlessly into society and sustain themselves financially.
We address our beneficiaries as crafters as it is more empowering. Being able to create products empowers them and enables them to earn a passive income which is in line with our philosophy of teaching our crafters to fish instead of providing them with fish.
Our volunteers have been the key to fulfilling our purpose, and we cannot be more thankful for each and every one of you who serve with a willing heart. Your selflessness and earnestness to give back to society is strongly admirable. We believe that your time with us will be a fulfilling one, and we hope to work hand-in-hand with you to serve the crafters as best as we can. While working with the crafters, we hope you can challenge yourself to try something different, achieve personal goals, practice using your skills and discover hidden talents.
