We are extremely grateful to have you with us. As a volunteer, you will be interacting with the differently-abled crafters, creating awareness of our organisation and crafters, or even pioneering your own programme under our tutelage.
In order for you to have a better understanding of volunteering with us, we have put together this handbook, with essential information regarding our organisation’s vision, our team and volunteer guidelines, which will enable you to gain a deeper understanding of Social Gifting and to better assist the crafters whom you will be working with.
Our guidebook provides information and tips that will be valuable to you, through imparting skills that are transferable and can be applied to your daily lives beyond this volunteer journey with us. Our content includes personal values such as respect for others and the belief that we can make a difference in the society, which are core values that we should abide by. These help to preserve our ethics and human touch especially in today’s world which is becoming more technologically-advanced and more unsympathetic. We have also included health and hygiene tips that are extremely important, especially during the current period of the pandemic and dress codes that serve as a guide to personal grooming.
